What to include
What should I include in a quote request?
In short
Include the suburb of the property, the service you need, a short description and photos or plans. Mention any deadline, such as settlement, a permit or a builder's start date. That is usually enough for a fixed quote within 1–2 business hours, and the quote tells you whether the job needs a site visit.
- Photos. Cracks close up with a coin or ruler for scale, and from further back. The slope, wall or area you want built on.
- Plans or drawings. Architectural or building design drawings, a site plan, or a sketch with sizes.
- Reports and quotes you already have. A building inspection, a soil report, or a contractor's underpinning quote you want checked.
- Your deadline. Settlement, cooling-off, a permit or a builder's start date. Your quote confirms whether we can meet it.
